History

  • 1994 - founding of VKN Polska Sp. z o.o. by two shareholders: VKN Ensdorf mbH and P.T. Energopiast Sp. z o.o.,
  • 1994 - coordination of first contract on exportation to Germany of fly ash fulfilling the requirements of the norm DIN-EN 450 Fly ash for concrete,
  • I quarter of 1995 - signing the first long-term contract (1995-1999) with ZEC Wrocław S.A. on cooperation in CCP utilization field,
  • I quarter of 1997 - signing 5-year contract with PPH UTEX from Rybnik on additional fly ash supplies with an aim to export it to Germany,
  • 1997 - significant increase of awareness on domestic market concerning technological possibilities of CCP utilization in construction industry which starts the process of perceiving CCP as not typical waste but as valuable product,
  • 12.1998 - membership in Polish CCP Union established - among others - in order to support CCP utilization,
  • 1999 - significant increase of demand for fly ash in construction sector, particularly for concrete, concrete blocks, ceramics with rising tendency during next years,
  • 07.1999 - signing next long-term contract (1999-2003) with ZEC Wrocław S.A. on CCP utilization,
  • 12.1999 - change of share structure in VKN Polska Sp. z o. o.; joining as shareholders two companies: PPH UTEX and ZEW KOGENERACJA S.A. (26.09.1999 ZEC Wrocław S.A. changed the name for ZEW Kogeneracja S.A.),
  • 12.2000 - establishing the Agency Office - Southern Region with premises in Rybnik dealing with sale of fly ash meeting the requirements of the norm PN-EN 450 Fly ash for concrete in construction sector within the Silesia Region, south-eastern and central part of Poland; Southern Region also deals with utilization of other industrial types of wastes,
  • 10.2001 - overtaking, as a result of restructuring process, fly ash-, bottom ash- and slag-disposal areas belonging to ZEC Kogeneracja S.A. together with all the staff, plants and disposal in Kamień, close to Wrocław, where the zone of business activity for ecological undertakings has been created (Lower Silesian Ecological and Technological Park),
  • 12.2001 - founding an associated company

EKOTRAKT Sp. z o. o. - production of mixtures based on aggregates, cement and CCP (subgrade stabilization, base course, road concrete) as well as ready mixed concrete with use of CCP

  • 02-06.2002 - carrying out the project of building and initiating on the area of disposal in Kamień the technologically innovative plant with individual technical solutions for production of concrete and road mixtures with use of CCP; the plant was intended as concrete production plant for EKOTRAKT company,
  • 12.2002 - signing 5-year contract with authorities of Święta Katarzyna Commune concerning lease and management of Municipal Waste Utilization and Recycling Unit in Sulęcin,
  • 05.2003 - obtaining by ZEW Kogeneracja S.A. - EDF Polska Group, the majority of votes on Shareholder Meeting in VKN Polska - since that moment VKN Polska has been considered a subsidiary of ZEW Kogeneracja S.A.,
  • II quarter of 2003 - establishing the Agency Office - Northern Region with head office in Gdańsk,
  • 2003 - initiating the program of public meetings concerning ecological education for adults and - together with Education Curator Office and Association EKOBIEGŁY - program of ecological education for students from high schools in Wrocław and neighboring areas; the program was continued in grammar schools on the same territory,
  • 01.2004 - starting with services of professional transportation on own as well as on external needs,
  • 05.2004 - building and initiating, under the supervision of VKN Polska, the plant for production of mineral and organic mixture based on CCP and sewage sludge in EKOPOLGRUNT company,
  • 08.2004 - obtaining certificates of reputable company TÜV CERT TÜV NORD CERT GmbH & Co. Kg certifying the introduction and using in practice System of Quality Management according to the norm DIN-EN ISO 9001:2000 as well as System of Environmental Management according to the norm DIN-EN ISO 14001:1996,
  • 11.2004 - obtaining the Lower Silesia Economic Certificate issued by Chapter of Lower Silesia Economic Certificate established by Lower Silesia Lodge of Business Centre Club,
  • 06.2005 - starting with biomass supplies to Power Plant in Opole - BOT Elektrownia Opole S.A.,
  • 06-08.2005 - biomass supplies for tests getting towards obtaining the concession on co-combustion of biomass with coal in order to generate energy from renewable resources,
  • 26.04.2006 - signing with ZEW KOGENERACJA S.A. the 10-year agreement on biomass supplies,
  • 20-21.07.2006 - obtaining the EC Certificate of Conformity for fly ash for concrete, issued by Building Research Institute in accordance with the Directive of Council of the European Community (CE marking symbol),
  • 2007 - taking over by ZEW KOGENERACJA S.A. 100% of shares in VKN POLSKA,
  • 2007 – errection of R&D concrete production plant in Kamień, Długołęka Comune in order to carry out the research and tests on aplication in road construction sector many different types of ashes and slags produced in the process of combusting different types of coal  (including co-combustion of biomass) in different types of plants, 
  • 01.2008 - handing over the managment of municipal waste in Sulęcin to Św. Katarzyna Commune,
  • 04.2008 - concluding the contract on construction of biomass unloading and storing plant in the Port of CHP Wrocław (main contractor - Energomontaż Północ S.A),
  • 09.2008 – winning the tender and signing the contract on fly ash collection from Power Plant  Łagisza in Będzin,
  • 10.2008 – winning the tender and signing the contract on CCP collection from CHP Energetyka Rokita in Brzeg Dolny
  • 11.2008 - acquirement of 100% shares in EKOTRAKT,
  • 16.09.2009 – change of name of the company from VKN Polska onto Renevis as well as head office of the company from ul. Kurkowej 44 onto Pl. Staszica 30 in Wrocław,
  • 10.2009 - starting the investment in Częstochowa: Subgrade stabilizations, base courses and other concretes production unit.
